Little is known about this mans past, other than he was a wanderer and a vagabond. A mighty warrior is Tahir, and he let everyone know of it. He fought for the good of people, but he was haughty and full of pride. On learning that the Nephilim had arisen again, he rejoiced, sensing a greater challenge, and if he was victorious, greater praise.

He set out in search of these brutes, but he found none. One day he saw a village, burned to the ground. In horror he approached a woman who was weeping over a pile of newly unearthed dirt.

"What has happened here?" Tahir asked, but the woman only wept. All she could say, over and over again was, "giant. horrible. giant" and then Tahir knew. His face turned grim and he no longer was glad that these beasts reappeared from the past. He hunted the Nephilim that destroyed the town like a fox hunts the rabbit, and soon came to a town. And hark! There was the giant, thrashing at the gate! But others were there, fighting the Nephilim as well. They seemed to be winning, but Tahir would not let them get the glory. With a might war cry, he came upon the giant and let his mighty axe fall like a rock from the sky. It sliced through flesh and bone, and Tahir lifted and swung again. Mighty were the strokes from his heavy axe. The giant was soon little but a pile of mangled flesh.

Tahir smirked in his victory, and in his haughtiness asked for praise and a reward. But those that had fought the Nephilim before Tahir arrived were angry, and denied his request. Tahir became livid left the place in search of another giant to kill.

Back at the town, Hayah turned to Joab. "His pride will be his undoing," he said. "Yet I see a hope in him, and I think there is more to him than his haughty front. Perhaps some day he will be of use."
